Student Council
The Seton Student Council is an organization that offers Seton students an opportunity to serve their school, learn how to plan special events, and gain experience in leadership. The students on the council work hard to plan activities that promote school spirit and community service.
Each middle school homeroom, grades 6 through 8, elects two representatives and one alternate. The representative duties are to attend all student council meetings, inform their homeroom of all student council activities, and assist with all student council activities. Officers for Student Council are President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. These officers are elected from the 8th grade representatives.
The council organizes small fundraisers to earn money to support activities such as Red Ribbon Week, middle school dances, the 8th grade Circa 21 Theater field trip, the 8th grade graduation dance, and for various charities throughout the school year.
